To realize Nation rebuilding, the Footpath Development Group recognizes the collective responsibility to achieve social impact through the transformation of Tribal governments and their people.

Our Core Principles

The following are a series of core principles our organization is founded upon:

• The cultural practice provides purpose and meaning to Indian Country and should be celebrated and integrated throughout personal, family, and community life.
• Cultivation and stewardship of our natural resources leads to self-sufficiency, presents an economic opportunity, and reinforces sovereignty.
• Sustained investment in Native people is necessary for personal and professional growth that transforms lives.
• Tribal governments require well established, efficient, and effective organization systems based on sound data to meet the needs of Tribal citizens and advance sovereignty.
• Attracting capital, in all forms, to Indian Country is central to building capacity that improves the quality of life, exercises independence, and advances sovereignty.
